Crucible Games is published by Seldon Strategies. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never see or store your actual password).
Gameplay Data
We store your game progress, decisions, character state, and achievements on our servers so you can continue your game across sessions.
Payment Information
Credit purchases are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (iOS). We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing address. We receive only a transaction confirmation and amount.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how players interact with the game. This includes page views, session duration, and conversion events. GA4 does not collect personally identifiable information.
AI-Generated Content
Crucible Games uses Google Gemini to generate narrative content. Your gameplay decisions and context are sent to Google's Gemini API to produce story responses. Google processes this data under their Gemini API Terms of Service. We do not send your email, username, or payment information to the AI service.

Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Google (Gemini API) — AI narrative generation

- Google Cloud — infrastructure hosting
Data Retention
Account and game data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. EU residents have rights under the GDPR.
Children's Privacy
Crucible Games is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
