Privacy Policy

Crucible Games is an online, single-player historical strategy game published by Seldon Strategies LLC. This policy describes the information used to operate accounts, AI-generated campaigns, and App Store purchases.

Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, internal user ID, password hash, authentication records, and account status.
• Gameplay data: selected era and character, campaign state, decisions, generated narrative, saved games, achievements, and usage history.
• Purchase data: product and transaction identifiers, credit balance and ledger entries, subscription status, and purchase-verification results. Apple handles payment-card details; Seldon Strategies does not receive them.
• Operational data: request, error, security, and service-health records needed to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable.

How We Use Data

We use this information to authenticate your account, generate and save narrative turns, enforce free-turn and credit limits, verify purchases, restore entitlements, provide support, secure the service, and diagnose failures. We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

AI Processing and Service Providers

Your campaign context and decisions are sent to Seldon Strategies' private model gateway and the configured model provider to generate narrative responses. We also use service providers for cloud hosting, database storage, and Apple purchase verification. They process data only to provide their contracted services under their own applicable terms and safeguards.

On-Device Data

The app stores its authentication token in the iOS Keychain and may cache account, settings, campaign, statistics, and achievement data on your device. Deleting the app removes that local data, subject to device backups, but does not delete the server account.

Deletion and Retention

You can permanently delete your account from the Account screen in the app. We delete the associated account and gameplay records, subject to limited retention required for security, fraud prevention, purchase accounting, dispute resolution, or law. You may also contact support for help.

External Links

If you choose to open a policy, support link, or email link, your browser, email provider, internet provider, and the destination service may process information under their own policies. Those actions occur outside the app.

Children's Privacy

Crucible Games is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected here and in applicable App Store disclosures.
