Embarq is an AI-powered travel companion published by Seldon Strategies. This policy explains how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Email address and password (or Apple ID if using Sign in with Apple) for authentication via Firebase Auth.

Travel Profile

Your travel preferences, personality dimensions, trip history, and check-in data that you voluntarily provide through the app. This powers our personalized recommendation engine.

Loyalty Program Data

Airline and hotel loyalty program information you manually enter (program name, status tier, points balance). We do not connect to airline or hotel systems — all loyalty data is self-reported.

Check-in Data

When you create check-ins, we store your mood, vibe tags, satisfaction rating, notes, and any photos you attach. Check-ins can be marked private (visible only to you) or public.

AI Chat

Conversations with the AI travel assistant are processed via Google Gemini API. Your chat messages and travel context are sent to Google for response generation. Google processes this under their API terms of service.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage metrics and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports. These help us improve the app experience.

How We Use Your Data

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with user-scoped security rules. Only you can read and write your own data.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Account deletion removes all associated data from our systems.
