Frequently Asked Questions
How do recommendations work?
Answer six quick taste questions, then Embarq ranks verified places against preferences such as food, pace, atmosphere, crowds, and novelty. The current release focuses on curated picks for Seoul and New York.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to browse and calibrate your taste. Sign in with email or Apple when you want to save trips, sync your profile, or use shared Ideas.
How do Singapore dinner recommendations work?
For Singapore trips, Embarq combines places you import from Apple Maps with live MapKit search results. Always verify hours, availability, and booking details with the venue.
What are Ideas?
Ideas are shared boards for friends, family, or recurring travel groups. A Navigator subscriber can create a travel circle; invited collaborators can join for free, capture possibilities, and promote selected ideas into a trip.
What does Navigator include?
Navigator is an optional monthly or yearly subscription. It lets you create collaborative Ideas circles and unlock taste-matched Singapore dinner planning with Apple Maps imports and live MapKit results. Taste calibration, verified Seoul and New York picks, and ordinary trip planning remain free.
How do I restore or manage Navigator?
Open Me > Navigator to restore a previous purchase. To change or cancel your subscription, open iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Deleting Embarq does not cancel an App Store subscription.
How do I delete my account?
Open Me > Account > Delete account and confirm. This permanently deletes your Embarq account and associated cloud data.
Can I recalibrate my taste?
Yes. Open Me and choose Recalibrate. Your new answers update how Embarq ranks future place recommendations.
