Privacy Policy

VowPilot is an AI-assisted wedding planning app published by Seldon Strategies LLC. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and how you can delete it.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and authentication records. Sign-in credentials are processed by Google Firebase Authentication; Seldon Strategies does not receive your plaintext password.
• Wedding planning data: names you enter, event date and location, budget, guest count, priorities, constraints, tasks, decisions, vendor details, quotes, and communications you choose to save.
• Uploaded content: quote photographs or other images you voluntarily submit for extraction.
• Purchase information: subscription product and entitlement status supplied by Apple. Payment card details are handled by Apple and are not provided to us.
• Diagnostics: limited crash and performance information used to keep the app reliable.

AI Processing

When you use an AI feature, the information needed for that request—such as wedding preferences, quote text, or an image you selected—is sent through an authenticated Seldon Strategies server to Google Gemini. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for wedding planning. AI output can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you act on it.

How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate you, save and synchronize your plan, generate planning guidance, analyze quotes, verify Premium access, provide support, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability problems.

Storage and Service Providers

Account, database, file-storage, server, and diagnostic services are provided through Google Firebase and Google Cloud. AI requests are processed by Google Gemini. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. These providers process information only to provide their respective services under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Sharing and Tracking

We do not sell personal information, use third-party advertising, or track you across other companies' apps and websites. We disclose information only to the service providers described above, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law.

Retention and Account Deletion

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your Seldon Strategies account and associated app data inside VowPilot by opening Settings → Delete Account and confirming. Deletion cannot be undone. Apple subscriptions remain managed through your Apple ID and should be cancelled separately in App Store settings if desired.

Your Choices

You can use VowPilot's manual planning tools without submitting a quote image or invoking an AI feature. You can update or delete planning data in the app, request password-reset assistance through Firebase Authentication, or contact us with a privacy question.

Children

VowPilot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version and effective date will always appear on this page.
